The Holy Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, Mentions in a hadeeth narrated by Imam Bukhari that 'Indeed some forms of poems are full of wisdom.' From this hadeeth we can deduce  that poems have many points to reflect upon and take lessons from. The Holy Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was not a poem but he liked poems, which had good meanings. He himself encouraged the great poet Sayyiduna Hassan ibn Thabit to recite couplets in Masjid Nabawi in order to defend Islam from false allegations.
