This book is a study of the formation of sentences from words, commonly known as "Tarkeebs" The study of this book will Insha - Allah equip the reader with the basics of Arabic sentence formation and construction thus enabling self study.

 

 

This unique book has been written using a diagrammatic format which dissects each sentence and then aids explanation in terms of grammar. It then brings all the words in the sentence together linking one word to another and reconstructing the sentence. It provides an in depth study of how words are constructed together in the Arabic language. Therefore following the study of this subject the reader should feel empowered with an excellent understanding of the formation of sentences.

ABOUT THE COMPILER

 

 

Mufti Shihab Uddin was born in a village called Shomemardan in Biswanath in the district of Sylhet located in Bangladesh in 1981. He spent his early years in Bangladesh and migrated with his family to the UK in 1986.

 

 

His journey for the pursuit of Islamic knowledge began in Bradford, at Tawakkulia Jami Masjid, where he learnt how to recite the Quran and the basics of Islam. In 1995 he enrolled into Al Jamiah Al Islamiyyah, Darul Uloom, Bolton, UK where he spent the next seven years studying various Islamic disciplines under guidance of many renowned scholars, Some of the disciplines studied were, Tafseer, Hadith and Fiqh. In 2001 he graduated with distinction and various formal authorisation to teach the disciplines. Following this he enrolled on the advanced legal specialization course at Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda, Darul Uloom, Blackburn, UK which led to qualifying him as a Mufti.

 

 

His love for the Holy Quran then led him to pursue its memorisation, which he completed in 2004. Since 2005 Mufti Shihab Uddin has been teaching in the renowned institute, Jamiah Khatamun Nabiyeen, Bradford, UK. He has had the pleasure and responsibility of teaching students from foundational years, through to final year students who study the six most authentic Hadeeth books on the Alim course taught there.
